A mostly self taught, post modern artist, St.Lewis incorporates eccentricity, modern technology and also Egyptian, Indian, classical and Christian mythology into his imagery. His work is fast but calculated, aggressively hip, but informed and inquisitive. Too skeptical to be spiritual, it's a quest, nevertheless and as autobiographical as it is irreverent: St.Lewis superimposes his own face on many of the paintings and thumbs his nose at his own culture, with abberations personal and cultivated.
